From my office desk, I get the faintest, teensiest view of Times Square lights and screens in between my shade of gigantic building neighbors. But from the other side of the office, the view is beautiful - if you like buildings upon buildings and a straight shot down 6th Avenue to Central Park off in the wee distance. It's still beautiful though, to see New York City from above - the teeny tiny cars and people and all the different types of rooftops!
So I live in a neighborhood here in Brooklyn where there are at least a couple bodega's around and they're always alluring with tons of beautiful flowers out front. It's great in making the neighborhood look beautiful and I don't know why I don't buy flowers more often. New goal: buy more flowers = make your apartment pretty!
