Week / end: Pinterest picks and lovely links

Happy Friday, friends! Let the countdown to the 3 day weekend begin! I think I'll use this time to be super productive and tackle the mess of a bedroom that I've been putting off for the longest time. Nothing like a deep clean to finish off the summer and enter into the Fall season! If you missed my post about Labor Day weekend ideas (picnic time!), you can find it here! In the meantime, I've got some fantastic Pinterest picks of the week along with their lovely links below.. . .

Friday Pinterest picks_coco and mingo

1 | Girl in daisy field I love this beautiful photo and would definitely like the opportunity to take some similar photos in the middle of a daisy field...gorgeous! Check out this photo by Millie Clinton on Flickr, along with her other beautiful photographs.

2 | Coconut cupcakes with whipped mascarpone frosting These cupcakes are so darn pretty (I love the egg carton idea as a cupcake holder!). You can find this recipe by Linda Lomelino via Amelia blog.

3 | Gold penguin earrings These earrings are my favorite - aren't they the most adorable?! Penguins are one of my favorite animals (also on the list: bunnies, whales and pandas). But anyway, these earrings by Blue Canary Vintage are amazing - go get them on Fab!

4 | Lovely interior space This beautiful space via French by Design has me oohing and ahhing at the amazing natural and raw materials that are used - especially that incredible wood board cabinet!

5 | Easy + pretty updo hair tutorial Anne Sage over at The City Sage brings us this really sweet updo that is versatile enough for everyday beauty or fancy dress-up. Take a look and give it a try here!

6 | "The less you care, the happier you will be" quote I love this quote! It's so true! This is how I identify with it: Some people get so hyped up and anxious about every little thing. Cool it down, relax a little bit! I admit, I'm a bit OCD, but even I know that there are things that you just need to let go of and opinions that you need to ignore - it's not worth the stress or worry! I wish I knew where this beautiful photo came from - do you? . . .

If you haven't already, I invite you to follow me on Pinterest! Happy Labor Day ~ Enjoy the long weekend!
