I wanted to leave you to enjoy this weekend with this quote by Oscar Wilde: "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars"
My daily practice over the past 6 months or so has been to look at every moment in the light rather than the darkness. It's not the easiest thing to do (man oh man), and it takes constant effort, mindfulness, and presence. But eventually, after practice practice practice, you come to get the hang of it and it slowly becomes a natural thought pattern, it becomes natural to want to center yourself before you react. Sometimes though, gah!! I just want to get super pissed off at things and be down and depressed about situations. But at those moments, I find myself wanting to dig myself out of that hole and let go so much more badly. I'm working on it, day by day. It just feels so much better to feel good about things, rather than bad, you know?

In other news, I'll be back here on the blog on Monday (whoa, right?!) to announce some exciting things! I'd love for you to join me!
Enjoy your weekend! xoxo
