Making Herbal Incense at Home With Flowers And Herbs

Using the soft smell of flowers or any other thing can help make any special moment more memorable and enjoyable. Various different types of flowers and herbs are known to provide us with different benefits related to our mental well-being.

If you want to make your home smell like heaven, using herbal incense is one of the easiest ways to do so. Herbal incense is basically any material made from flowers and herbs which you can burn to get a specific smell.

One of the best parts about herbal incense is that you can repair it at your home as well, and that too without much preparation. Let’s go through a few simple steps you need to follow in order to make herbal incense at home. By the way, you can also order any type of herbal incense from incensehigh.com.

Prepare Everything

To start the preparation process, you should cut the herbs and flowers to about 6 inches length, and remove any leaves attached to them.

Tie Everything Together

After the preparation is over, you can now lay your flowers over the herbs and tie them together to keep them secure. You should use herbs like eucalyptus which have large leaves.

Use Twine

Now comes the important part. You should use a twine around 5 to 6 times longer than your bundle.

To tie the bundle, leave 3 inches from the end, and start tying the bundle together with twine. As you proceed with wrapping the twine around the bundle, start going upwards until you reach the upper part of your bundle. After that, start coming down words until you reach the shorter end, and then tie both the ends.

Let Them Dry

After creating the bundle, hang it upside down by using twine. You should find a cold and dry spot to let the bundle dry slowly in 2 to 3 weeks.

After the bundle dries completely, you can burn it to get the smell of herbal incense in your house.
